Capri
The bottoms of her eyes drifted to the left as did her hair, making her look sly.
It can be a bit disconcerting to hear a 200 million year old dinosaur say, “I’m new!” But, that was the current problem that Capri was facing. Capri was a genius, so of course she knew when dinosaurs lived. And, this was just a common dinosaur, so Capri guess that it would have lived towards the beginning of the dinosaur era. Still, 200 million years was really a guess, not to mention a nice round number. If this had been a test, 200 million years would have been counted as a correct answer. Then, again, even though Capri was only seven, her teachers always gave her straight A’s, even when she didn’t put down any answers, even when she didn’t turn in her test.
The problem with being that kind of genius is that everyone expects you to have all the answers in every situation. And, having a dinosaur in town was definitely a situation, even if that dinosaur was new because the witches in the next town over had just conjured it up.
To find out how Capri got into this predicament and how she gets herself and her town out of it, read Capri.
